All my life I have cared deeply for animals and I have always looked for ways to help them. I have taken notice of the careless attitudes that we have developed towards our beautiful planet and we are witnessing the results of that carelessness first hand with climate change, animals loosing habitat due to deforestation, pollution etc. I have also witnessed animals being mistreated first hand and it was then I decided to do something to help.

I wanted to do whatever I could to help save and protect the planet and animal species. For me, it would be more difficult NOT to do something. I have been involved with several organizations in my hometown and it was by coincidence that I came across ISFoundation.com and I discovered that their main focus was to help save the planet AND its creatures! Perfect! Their goal: The IS FOUNDATION aims to empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects to positively impact the planet and its creatures.

When I read this I saw a way I could help, so I jumped on it. The duty to protect species and habitat belongs with all people, and it’s the belief that unless we all do anything and everything we can, then the loss will be devastating to the planet and future generations.

Young people are the only ones who will have the power in the future to do something. Unless we start making them aware of the problems we are facing now, then the planet and animals will most likely go down the same path it is now and there will be no turning back. It hasn’t reached that point yet but we have to make a change now, for ourselves and for our children, because if we don’t do it, then who will? It’s up to us, and the more that message is spread amongst us, the better. And spreading 'the message' while inspiring others to get involved was my attempt in making the song for the ISFoundation. 

The ISFoundation focus is also to create a feeling of togetherness, although we all think “I am only one person, what can I do?” TOGETHER we are powerful because we are "only one person" TOGETHER, and TOGETHER we are a whole lot of people and we CAN and WILL make a change.

It’s only when enough people act that the actions we do to make this a better world, will be effective. Just think if we could correct the mistakes of the previous generations, and if each generation improves and learns from the last, then humanity as a species will change to be better in the future.



One person can’t change the world, but he or she can start.
